Smoking cessation refers to quitting or stopping smoking and involves the process of discontinuing smoking cigarettes. As cigarettes contain nicotine, which is an addictive substance that can cause dependence, it can be a difficult process. The benefits of quitting are many, boosting your physical and mental health and improving relationships with others within a short space of time.
